Bella 2005
|
|
She is a Long-Haired Chihuahua. She is my
youngest. Born in June of 2005. People always stop
and ask what kind of dog she is and want to hold her. Some
have mistaken her for a cat from behind because of her fur and
large ears. She is a handful of joy. She follows me through the house looking for new games to play all the time. She's such a trip - If you sneeze, she will find the nearest gift (a toy, a piece of food, a bone, etc.) and bring it to you. Once she's checked to make sure you're okay, off she goes with the gift! She loves food (not doggie food - people food)! Especially salads. When I go through a drive thru for a burger I always get extra lettuce on the side for her. I joked with the girl at Burger King when I first took Bella and told her that she's vegetarian. Now anytime I go through Burger King the girl says "Oh, let me get some lettuce for the little doggie vegetarian!" Bella is wonderful with her sister cat (Stormy) and her brother bunny (Coffee). She and Stormy play chase and sound like a herd of cattle running through the house. She loves Coffee but wants to clean his ears too much for his liking. She's a fabulous little dog, and is helping me stay in shape by keeping me busy playing games and walking! I love this little girl! |

She is a beautiful Blue Domestic Long-Haired Cat. She weighs around
8-9 pounds. She is the baby, but she rules over everyone. Born in March of
2001.
She is friendly, playful, moody, bossy, and these mood swings never seize. She beats everyone up including me when she's in one of those moods. Can you guess why she's named Stormy? She loves to play tag and hide 'n seek. She loves bubbles and being rubbed with slick plastic lollypop wrappers. She has a preference in which lollipop wrapper she prefers to be rubbed with; the Blow-Pop wrappers are her favorites. She can be in another part of the house - in one of her deep sleeps, and snap wide awake when I open the lollypop drawer and be beside me in the wink of an eye. She doesn't have any particular place she likes to sleep or nap, she has numerous places. For the most part, when she's not up guarding the house, she sleeps on her pillow above my head. Oh did I mention she's a guard cat? From the time she was an infant, if there was a sound outside the door, she'd sit guard for hours. She has an open toy box and she will pull out whatever toy she wants to play with for the moment. I haven't been able to get her to put them back when she's trough with them, so picking them up can be a big chore for me. Her favorite toy (but she doesn't know he's a toy) is Mickey Mouse. He is her companion and he comforts her when she's not feeling well. She treats him like a brother, she picks him up by the neck and carries him throughout the house, she cleans him, and of course she also beats him up. But this is her way of showing love, I guess. When she was younger, she enjoyed car rides and people watching. We'd go out for an evening drive a few times a week and she'd make me stop in parking lots to watch the people go in and out of the stores. Occasionally she'd want to drive and I'd let her sit in my lap and put both paws on the steering wheel. Now days, she's decided to blame the car for her going to the vet and she despises getting into the car. When given her favorite treats and meals she gives nose kisses. But look out if it's not a good treat, she'll chase you down and slap you. She takes her anger out on her brother (Coffee) most times. She goes as far as to punch into his cage (when he's not out) and slap him around a little (don't worry - her front paws have been declawed). All in all she's not a bad pet. She's just my spoiled little baby! |

He is a Netherland Dwarf. He weighs around 2-3 pounds and is
extremely friendly. He is my middle child. Born in June of 1999.
He loves to jump in your lap, on your back and makes the cutest little sound when he runs circles around you. He is very, very picky when it comes to what he will or will not eat. He really doesn't like rabbit pellets, he enjoys the colorful foods that are in the rabbit mixture. One day he may not eat something and the next day he may. He doesn't like to eat hay either. He loves lettuce (romaine is best) and he is picky with fruits and vegetables. But then again, it depends on his mood. As with Piper, his favorite fruits are bananas and apples - no strawberries please. He also enjoys being rubbed. But his main enjoyment is trying his best to get to Piper. That's his life goal and my goal is to constantly prevent it. He nor Piper have been fixed, so I don't allow them out together unsupervised (don't want a hundred little ones running around, you know). He is somewhat satisfied with being able to rub noses with her and pulling her hair. He goes up to her cage and bites at her face affectionately and runs off making his little buzzing sound. He's just a tiny bundle of picky love! |

She is an English Spot Rabbit. She weighs around 11-12 pounds and is
quiet a moody rabbit. She is my oldest. Born in March of 1999.
She loves being rubbed mostly on her nose, ears, and between her ears. She does binkies (happy jumps) after a good long rest. She enjoys playing with infant toys and will throw them back and forth to you. When she wants attention, she will come over and nudge you. If she wants attention and a treat she will pick up a toy or something small near her and toss it. She learned these tricks early. Since rabbits don't speak (verbally) as most animals, they learn different methods of communication such as nudging and tossing things, some may even become a little destructive with household items to get your attention or to tell you something. She will eat "almost" anything and is not too picky when it comes to food. She also loves it when a little tortilla chip is shared with her. She also enjoys a little fruit, lettuce (romaine is best), green bell pepper, cucumber, and carrots. Her all-time favorite fruits are banana strawberry, and apple. Even when she's mad, she can't resist these. She can also get very moody and her way of showing she's upset about something is "trying" not to eat or ignoring you (turning her back to you) when you talk to her. She's just a big baby bunny at heart, and is extremely lovable! |
